Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Cochin Arrival & Drive to Munnar
Morning: Arrive at Cochin International Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station. Mid-day: Start your scenic 4-hour drive (approx. 130 km) up to Munnar. En route: Stop to view the cascading Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls. Evening: Check into your Munnar resort, relax, and enjoy the cool mountain air.
Day 2: Munnar Hills Exploration
Morning: Visit the sprawling Mattupetty Dam and enjoy a brief speed-boat ride. Mid-day: Head to Echo Point to hear your voice echo across the lake, followed by a stroll through the Kundala Lake area. Afternoon: Explore the Eravikulam National Park, the famous sanctuary for the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (wild mountain goat). Evening: Walk through a local tea estate or shop for fresh spices, homemade chocolates, and aromatic oils in Munnar town.
Day 3: Munnar to Alleppey (Houseboat Stay)
Morning: Check out early and drive 4.5 hours down to Alleppey (approx. 160 km). Mid-day: Board your private Kerala Houseboat, Afternoon: Cruise through the peaceful Vembanad Lake, narrow canals, and local lakeside villages. Traditional Kerala lunch and dinner will be freshly prepared and served onboard. Night: Stay overnight on the floating houseboat anchored in the quiet backwaters.
Day 4: Alleppey to Cochin & Departure
Morning: Enjoy breakfast on the boat while it cruises back to the jetty. Mid-day: Drive 1.5 hours back to Cochin (approx. 55 km). Afternoon: If time permits before your flight/train, do a quick sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi to see the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and Mattancherry Palace. Evening: Transfer to the Cochin airport or railway station for your journey home.
